Summary of research interests and expertise:

We are conducting our research at the Lab of Action & Body (inaugurated in 2007) and at the Centre for the Politics of Feelings (inaugurated in 2021). Broadly speaking, our research takes an interdisciplinary approach and focuses on the neurocognitive mechanisms that shape the experience of embodiment and self-identity and their social and political dimensions.  You can find below more information on the major projects we have worked over the years with the generous support of the European Research Council (EU), the NOMIS Foundation, the Economic and Social Research Council (UK), and other funders from across Europe.
