Inequality and Poverty Reduction, State-Business Relations, Informal Economies, Post-Conflict and Post-Crisis Multi-Sectoral Reconstruction, Social Protection and Economic Recovery Strategies. Role of aid in Africa. Analysis and translation of evidence into policy advice for governments and multilateral organisations.

Project summary relevant to Fellowship:

Currently researching the links between the extractive economic practices and political repressive policies pursued by Southern African governments led by National Liberation Movements, and their impact on the economic, social, political and civil rights of citizens.
