Project summary:
The Refugee Law Initiative is the only academic centre in the UK to concentrate specifically on international refugee law
As a national focal point for leading and promoting research in this field, the Refugee Law Initiative (RLI) works to integrate the shared interests of refugee law scholars and practitioners, stimulate collaboration between academics and non-academics, and achieve policy impact at the national and international level



Events, Courses and Training

The RLI hosts seminars, conferences and workshops, and short courses to promote and facilitate cutting-edge research on the protection of refugees and other displaced persons.

Research and Publications
The RLI leads and manages high-impact research, policy and training projects in house. As well as a forthcoming book series, the RLI acts as a research repository through the Research Aids section of this site and the RLI Working Papers Series.

Networks

The RLI has developed networks of doctoral affiliates, visiting fellows, senior research associates and partner organisations. This site includes groups and forums which support sharing, collaboration and dissemination of information by academics and non-academics, refugee law scholars and practitioners.
