Summary of research interests and expertise:

Currently a Visiting Professor at the School of Law, CCLS at Queen Mary University, Honorary Research Fellow at Birkbeck University of London, and the Director of the Global Online MBA Programmes at the University of London. Since 1991, I held numerous academic positions at Brunel University (2002-2018) and Cardiff University (1991-2002). I am also an adjunct Instructor at the Hellenic Open University and I supervise MSc students at the University of Glasgow and Warwick University.

In 2007, I set up the Hellenic Observatory of Corporate Governance (www.hocg.eu), where research on five distinct, important economic sectors ( Maritime, Hospitals, State Owned Enterprises, Listed Companies, and Football Clubs)  is contacted on issues related to Corporate Governance, ESG, and Sustainability.

In short, 41 academic journal papers, 119 conference papers, 30 chapters in Editors' books, a book published by SAGE, 11 PhD/DBA completions, and numerous professional reports and articles are my research-related outcomes.
