Tony, a retired Army colonel, has recently completed the London University MRes in the History of the Book(Opens in new window), and is now undertaking research for a PhD exploring the provenance of Shakespeare’s First Folio and the quarto editions of his playbooks printed before 1623. Tony has a long-standing interest in collecting early printed classical and renaissance texts and is also a highly skilled bookbinder.
