Chiara Betti is a CDP PhD student and her project is co-supervised by IES and the Bodleian Libraries at Oxford. Chiara’s research focuses on the 750 printing plates bequeathed by the antiquary Richard Rawlinson to the University of Oxford in 1755. Her project takes a multidisciplinary approach that brings together book history, printmaking, engineering and history of collecting.
